Lindenwood University offers a comprehensive minor program in Special Education K-12, designed to equip future educators with specialized skills and knowledge to support diverse learners. This minor is available to students pursuing degrees in early childhood education, elementary education, middle school education, or minors in secondary education (9-12) or K-12 education. Upon successful completion of all coursework, students will have the Special Education minor reflected on their transcripts.
Due to the specialized nature of the program, courses must be thoughtfully planned and sequenced in consultation with the student’s education advisor. Some required courses are offered intermittently, emphasizing the importance of strategic academic planning.
