Economics Department

An economics degree provides students with a solid grounding in economic theory, along with training in applied econometrics. In addition to their specialized training, economics students will receive a well-rounded business education that will prepare them for a wide array of careers in business. Many employers place high value on employees with quantitative skills. Economics training is also excellent preparation for graduate coursework in business, law, or the social sciences. The Bachelor of Science Business Economics degree is a STEM designated program.
