MTH 38901 - Undergraduate Research 3 Credit Hour(s) This course provides undergraduates with an opportunity to perform research in pure or applied mathematics. Under the supervision of a faculty member, a student will independently study a chosen area of mathematics. Students are expected to explore significant problems in their topic, draw conclusions, and, if applicable, identify real world applications to their work. This is an undergraduate research course. Fee Information: Lab fee may be required. Repeatable: May be repeated for a maximum of 9 credit hours. Prerequisite(s): Permission of the dean.
