Critical Thinking Minor

18 credit hours

The minor in critical thinking is an interdisciplinary minor that combines a philosophical approach to logic and critical thinking with the application of those skills in an area of your interest. The minor combines theoretical and practical approaches to critical thinking that will enhance any degree.

PHRL 34300 - Free Will Credit Hour: 3
PHRL 34400 - Philosophy of Science Credit Hour: 3
PHRL 34600 - Philosophy of Religion Credit Hour: 3
PHRL 34800 - Mind, Brain, Machine? Credit Hour: 3

Elective Coursework

9 credit hours of coursework from the following options:

ARTH, AST, CSC, ECON, ENGL, GS, HIST, MGMT, PHS, PS at or above the 20000-level.

BSC, CHM, ESC, GEO, PHRL, PHY, PSY, SOC at or above the 30000-level.

CINE 33600 , CINE 37000 , or COM 10200 .
