AAD 53310 - 3D Printing


Credit Hour(s): 3
This advanced course allows students to engage with principles of 3D modeling and manufacturing through hands-on experience. Students will build on the skills learned in 3D Graphics to physically prototype objects and will learn about the software and hardware necessary to print in three dimensions. Case studies investigate the potential impact new printing technologies will have on society and the future of the techniques.
Fee Information: Lab fee required.
Notes: This class may require the use of a virtual reality headset identified by the instructor.
